Dubai: A Gourmet’s Delight!

Dubai: A Gourmet’s Delight!

Dubai: A Gourmet’s Delight!

If there is ever to be any competition between all art forms on earth, the culinary arts will probably bank all the votes in! One might even argue that if there was anything a person would like to do on their weekend, they’d want to have their favourite meal. Okay, in all honesty, that might be a bit of a stretch. But, I guess you know where I am going with this.

Food is an emotion; no contesting that. But each one processes that differently. There are two kinds of people: those who live to eat, and those who eat to live. And everyone knows, the world needs more of the former. Take a minute and think about it; which group do you fall into?

If you are in the former, congratulations! You are a foodie. For a foodie, it is highly recommended that you plan your next gourmet trip to Dubai. I will tell you why you will love it!

Dubai is a gourmet’s Disneyland! Everything you want, every cuisine, every country’s famous dish, you can get it right here, often, under one roof (read: mall). Some of us devour desserts, while others savour a quick spicy bite. Then there are those that love a good long meal with multiple courses. Dubai has just the right mix for each of you.

Cruising down the streets of Dubai, everywhere you will lay your eyes, you are sure to find a restaurant. When visiting Dubai, make sure you visit the following places to grab the scrumptious best! The most famous areas for food are Jumeirah Beach Residence(JBR), Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT), Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, and The Palm.

Start your day with some of the best breakfast places in town. With the most irresistible options available minutes away from wherever you are at, one cannot possibly just pick one. Some of the best places would include Paul’s, Tania’s Teahouse, The Coffee Club, Common Grounds, Mitts and Trays, to name a few. Each of these places has an amazing spread to choose from.

Moving on to a quick snack, I would recommend the many street food spots around town. Be it the food trucks at JBR, or the many many eateries at JLT, if you fancy street food from any country across the world, you will get it here, surely. Try the Arabic street food at Al Amoor, or Shami Gourmet. Take a trip to the Indian subcontinent at Chaat Bazaar. Try the different Mexican street food vendors on the food trucks in JBR and Downtown.

Deciding on a casual lunch in the sunny happy place on Middle Earth will leave you and your pals completely baffled. There are just so many options! JBR has some of the best casual places to lunch at, including Cheesecake Factory, PF Changs, Eat Greek, Leopold’s of London, Bombay Bungalow, and more.

If fine dining is what you are looking for, Dubai is your haven. Some of the best restaurants in the world are here! Head over to Buddha Bar, Hakkasan, Tong Thai, Thiptara, Zheng He’s, to have a drink, enjoy the ambience and taste some amazing Chinese and Thai food. Love Sushi? Nobu and Zuma are your best bets for the finest sushi in town.
For a more European and British experience, you need to book your table at Opa, Pierchic, La Petite Maison, Rhodes W1 and Gaia.

This is just day one’s itinerary. Can you imagine an entire week? Nay, an entire fortnight filled with delicacies from around the world at your doorstep? YUM.

What’s more, Dubai also has a month-long food festival that coincides with one of the biggest shopping festivals in the world. It is held in the period between February – March.

Now that you have your entire gourmet itinerary ready, what’s the next step? After you’ve booked your flight tickets, the next on your agenda is accommodation. You will find Dubai laden with exquisite options to choose from. If you want to experience the city like a local, we recommend holiday homes in Dubai. Live amongst the every-day Dubai residents and enjoy everything the city has to offer at a lower cost. Holiday homes in Dubai have the best amenities, whether you are travelling with friends, family or just the special someone.

Holiday homes in Dubai are available on short term rental, be it for a night or even a month. These short term rental holiday homes are ideal because they have the best communities and their locations are easily accessible too. If you are visiting this city of wonders, be sure to check out the holiday homes in Dubai.

What are you waiting for? It is time to book those tickets!
